O’level Subject Combination for Public Administration

Remember, when it comes to tertiary institution admission process, you cannot take away the place of O’level (WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB).

The standard requirements for O’level is that you must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes including Mathematics and English Language.

Specifically for candidates seeking to study Public Administration, you must have at least C6 in the following subjects:

  • Christian Religious Studies

For direct entry students, you must have N.C.E, OND, etc. in addition to the above requirements to be offered admission.

  • Scoring at least 180 in Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination is mandatory.
  • Attending Post UTME screening is mandatory.
  • Documents such as; National Identity card, Certificate of Origin, JAMB notification result slip, recent passport photograph, Post UTME registration slip etc. during screening.

Note: Almost all institution in Nigeria demands you pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of Thirty Thousand Naira (N30,000) depending of the institution.

JAMB Cut-off Mark for Public Administration

Candidates applying for Public Administration as first choice of course must score nothing below 180 to gain admission into a university, 140 for Polytechnics and 100 for Colleges of Education etc.
